Sandra Guzman is an Emmy award-winning journalist, editor, media consultant, producer, and blogger. She is the former Editor-in-Chief of Latina magazine, former Associate Editor at the New York Post, and a producer at Telemundo and Fox television networks.
Sandra is the author of the personal and professional development book for Hispanic women, The New Latina’s Bible: The Modern Latina’s Guide to Love, Spirituality, Family and La Vida. She is also former Editor-in-Chief of Heart & Soul, a fitness, health, and wellness magazine for women of color.
Sandra is a national expert in media targeting the U.S. Hispanic market having launched Hispanic media properties targeting the bilingual and bicultural Latino and Latina consumer including the fully bilingual, Spanish/English webzine for women, soloella.com and the New York Post feature supplement, Tempo.
Sandra has interviewed some of today’s most prominent figures in the arts, politics, sports, business and many of Hollywood’s A-list celebrities. Sandra was one of the interviewers on the HBO documentaries, The Latino List, Vol.1 and Volume II which featured compelling interviews with Pitbull, Christy Turlington, Justice of the Supreme Court Sonia Sotomayor, Dolores Huerta, and comedian George Lopez, among others.
Most recently, she interviewed Nancy Pelosi, Alicia Keys, Rosie Perez, and many other notables women achievers for "The Women’s List", the fourth installment in the documentary series which has aired on HBO. The documentary is currently in production.
Sandra’s work has appeared in Conde Nast, Hearst, News Corp, El Diario, CNN, among other media companies.
Sandra conducts workshops and delivers keynote addresses on race, women, media, diversity, pop culture and the Hispanic market at national conferences, Fortune 500 companies, and prestigious universities and colleges around the nation.
She is represented by one of the leading speaking agencies of the world, the American Program Bureau.
