Sandra J. Humphrey has been a Realtor with Coldwell Banker since 2001 and a Broker Associate since 2004. Sandra worked as a salesperson and assistant manager for the Coldwell Banker Boca Raton Beach office for 15 years while managing personal vacation rental properties in the Florida Middle Keys. She moved to the Keys full time in 2015. Presently, she is a Broker Associate with Coldwell Banker Schmitt Real Estate in the Marathon office. With a Masters degree in Marine Biology, Sandra is also a part-time professor at Florida Keys Community College and Palm Beach State College teaching Marine Biology and Oceanography.
In prior years Sandra launched a career in computing software, first as an applications programmer, and later as a systems programmer. Sandra spent 30 years in computers and high tech and held senior and director level marketing positions for several companies including Daleen Technologies, Citrix Systems, Boca Research, Motorola, Maynard Electronics, MODCOMP, and Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC). These positions included responsibility for public relations, advertising, promotional literature, trade shows, events, customer visits, and tech support. Her marketing responsibilities entailed working with international customers in several European countries, as well as Japan and China.
Ms. Humphrey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from the State University College at Cortland with continuing education at Boston University in Computer Science and Biology, and a Master of Science in marine biology from Nova Southeastern University.
Sandra is a NAUI SCUBA Diving Instructor and previously owned a dive school in the Boston area. She also enjoys paddleboarding and kayaking. Sandra is an accomplished artist; some of her painting, pottery, and gourd art can be seen at the Shady Palms Art Gallery in Marathon.
