Sandra is an executive strategist and systems thinker motivated by a passion for sustainability.
She is Founder and CEO of social venture – 10Power – which works with under-served communities globally to build capacity for renewable energy, clean water, gender empowerment and ecosystem restoration.
Previously she worked with AutoGrid, transforming the energy efficiency industry by creating actionable intelligence out of big data from the smart grid.
Sandra Co Founded and served as President and COO of energy efficiency company Powerzoa.
She has also served as CEO of a software company producing the world’s first mathematically lossless video codec: SheerVideo and founded PresidioSpace, a co-working and event space for sustainable ventures. Sandra was on the team at PG&E that implemented the ClimateSmart program, which offsets carbon emissions associated with electricity generation. She has consulted with clients ranging from Mitsubishi to the San Francisco Foundation.
As a public speaker and educator, Sandra has presented at conferences and events ranging from the world's largest computer conference in Germany, CEBIT, to the Envision festival in Costa Rica. She has guest lectured at Stanford, been a teaching team member for the Presidio MBA, and is a professor of 'Race, Activism and Climate Justice' at San Francisco State University.
In her former life as an artist, Sandra opened and ran several studios providing the first all-digital photography experience in the US. She established and directed arts non-profit, Deconform and served as Stage Manager for international award-winning, site-specific dance troupe Blue Lapis Light and was a Board Member and Chair of Marketing and Arts for the first Bioneers conference in the Southeast.
