Sandy Khaund

Entrepreneur in SF Bay Area, CA

I'm a serial software entrepreneur/ intrapreneur with over 25 years of experience across managerial and executive positions at five Fortune 500 companies (including Intel, Microsoft, and Warner Media) and served as a C-Level executive at three acquired startups (Piczo, InStadium, and UPGRADED).

Currently, I am Founder and CEO of Credenza (an angel-funded Web3 startup), Partner at Mindspring Capital (a global sports tech investment firm with eight investments in 2021), the chairman of Rock Daisy (a top sports analytics platform used by a dozen major sports franchises), and the Managing Director of Macrodemic (a sports tech incubator & think tank). I am also on the board of the UDHC (a DeFi fund that support tech that amalgamates traditional and decentralized economies), which was founded after the full decentralization of MakerDAO, where I was a corporate board member.

As side projects, in the last few years, I have been a visiting professor at Georgia State University, a co-author of 21st Century Sports: How Technologies Will Change Sports in the Digital Age, co-founded the Weiji Foundry (a Covid-inspired college student startup accelerator), and created (with my kids) Inventors University (a local “school” where we teach young girls to build a Raspberry Pi computer and write code for it). I sit on the boards of three non-profits (Women's Audio Mission, Women in Sports Tech, and the OKB Hope Foundation) and I am an angel investor in six startups.

I have a total of four advanced degrees from Ithaca College, Cornell University, and Wharton. One more and I get a free toaster.

Oh, and I live for my amazing wife and my truly awesome kids, my hopefully improving Orioles, Hoyas, and Titans (in that order)...
