Born and raised in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, MA in a single parent household, I have always admired women who work to shatter the glass ceiling. Education has been stressed to me countless times and is something that I value tremendously, not only for myself, but for my community.

I am a recent graduate of Simmons College and my passion is in the medical field. I plan to apply to Physician Assistant graduate programs with a focus on pediatrics. My hobbies include: writing and performing poetry, traveling, being a foodie, reaching out to inner-city youths, and doing community service. I am a part of the Big Sister Association of Greater Boston, and while in undergraduate, I had many leadership roles, one being President of the Black Student Organization, and bringing Dr. Angela Davis to campus. I am an activist for equal rights and someday hope to have my own non-profit.

My peers and employers would describe me as charismatic, detailed-oriented, determined, and a team player.
