Brittany Sanford

I graduated from Texas Tech University with a BA as a Marketing and Management Major. During my college career I spent a full year away from college studying abroad in Italy, interning in NYC with Pernod Ricard, and interning with Congressman Pete Olson in Washington D.C. Throughout my 4 years at college I was a full time student and work as a bartender/ server for 30-40 hours a week. I am driven, motivated, and eager to learn.

Currently I am the STX Portfolio Manager for our Supplier Business Development division at Republic National Distributing, I am responsible for meeting with key customers to maintain relationships, make presentations to introduce new products, leverage sponsorship dollars to gain ROI, provide service and solve problems, and negotiate and increase sales. The sales responsibilities of my position are to survey the market area to detect business trends and opportunities for new products or new applications for existing product. My position often assists in the development of sales forecasts, plan for sales activities by forecasting conditions, defining objectives and strategies, and securing resources to achieve goals. My position is actively involved in budget management, goal setting, and personnel development. My outgoing personality allows me to quickly make personal connections with sales reps, customers, supplier partners, and the management team for all 4 divisions. My position controls performance by measuring and reporting results, evaluating and correcting performance and administering policies and procedures. My management requirements are to take leadership in making decisions, developing personnel, and communicating with and motivating staff. I am one of the top performers in my market and am the youngest manager in my division.

In my free time I enjoy watching football (favorite time of year!) and outdoors, active activities. Running a marathon, traveling the world, and making a difference are all on my bucket list. During my middle school and high school years I played multiple sports including soccer, cheer leading, dance, gymnastics, softball, and flag football.
