Sangeeta Venkatesh is a Post-Graduate in Biotechnology from M.S. University, Vadodara. Starting off as a Researcher at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, she went on to collaborate with Canadian and American universities on various international biotech projects.
She is currently Lead- Corporate Communication of Ecoparadigm - an environment engineering company.
She was previously Research Director of SocioTech Innovation4Change - a social enterprise focusing on sanitation and waste management with an emphasis on school sanitation.

Sangeeta has previously been a consultant to a tsunami rehabilitation project in Tamil Nadu, India. She also led the solid waste management group of a citizen initiative- Whitefield Rising spending hours working with communities as well as corporate India in formulating guidelines and methods on how to manage their waste.
