Sanjay Sen

Sanjay Sen serves as the President and Chief Investment Officer of BloombergSen Investment Partners: concentrated, long-term, value investors. In this role, he acts as Portfolio Manager, along with co-founder & CEO, Jonathan Bloomberg, managing the wealth of individuals, families, endowments, foundations, and pension funds. The firm’s Principals are, collectively, its largest client. With his strong investment background and acumen, Sanjay helped the firm rank in Barron’s Top 100 Funds globally from 2014 to 2017.

Prior to founding BloombergSen, Sanjay worked from 2006 to 2007 at Cumberland Private Wealth Management, where he specialized in research and analysis of US equities. Sanjay helped create custom portfolio solutions for Cumberland’s clients.

Sanjay served as a private investor from 2002 to 2006. Prior to that, he worked at Burgundy Asset Management, where he was the lead analyst on the US Small Cap Value Fund. At Burgundy, Sanjay analyzed diverse industries from a broad landscape of Canadian and US companies.

Sanjay Sen is on the board of African Parks Foundation of America and is a past member of the Finance Committee of Red Door Family Shelter.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in communications from the University of Toronto and has earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
