Santana is a junior Accounting major in Clark Atlanta University's business administrative program striving toward a Bachelor of Arts degree. Her studies at Clark Atlanta University revolve around business administration, allowing her to hone her skills in accounting. she believes her knowledge of accounting would make her a great addition to the Corporate workforce.
Santana decided to seek her career in Accounting, following the footsteps of her aunt Marteal Higginbotham a very seasoned and top of the line CPA. Santana began her very first business class "Entrepreneurship" in high school; where she and a partner came up with a business plan and won the contest, which put them in the finals, where the won 2nd place nationally. Santana was always an honor student, making honor roll every year, it was not so much of a surprise that she graduated with "High-Honors".
That coming fall, Santana enrolled at her "Top-Choice HBCU" the illustrious Clark Atlanta University as a business administration major with a concentration in accounting student. As a sophomore she was very interested in becoming a part of the MBA program for accounting majors, and as a junior she is looking into the MBA program. That way she will have earned enough hours to sit and take the CPA exam. Where her career goals will soon start to take place. She has the desire to become a CPA with her own Accounting/Wealth management firm, as well as start a non-profit organization for children with sickle cell; In hopes of making their lives a little more adventurous, powerful, and worth its while.
