Santanu Sengupta is an accomplished senior Global Banking executive with three decades of rich experience shaping business growth, governance, risk management, strategy and transformation at leading international banks. As former Managing Director, Regional Head, and Member of the APAC Executive and Risk Committees at Wells Fargo Bank, based in Singapore, he led diverse, cross border teams and business across 15 countries, delivered robust P&L results, and effectively managed complex risks & regulatory compliance.
Prior to Wells Fargo, he held senior leadership roles at Credit Agricole CIB, HSBC, and ABN AMRO Bank.
Santanu currently serves as a Global Advisory Board Member and Strategic Advisor to startups, helping founders and boards navigate strategy, capital raising, cyber resilience, ESG stewardship, and Responsible AI oversight. He is also an ICF-accredited Executive Coach, and partners with CXOs and founders in navigating complexity, disruption, leadership transitions, and organizational inflection points.
