Santiago Jimenez

Born and raised in A Coruña, Spain I am a 31 year-old Civil and Structural Engineer with a strong background in Business, Sales and Project Management. Currently studying an MBA online by ThePowerMBA, an acclaimed business program focused on entrepreneurship, digital marketing and lean strategy, I have developed over 5 years of proven international experience in Engineering, Sales and Business Development Roles.

I was raised in a well-traveled famiIy so I had the opportunity to discover some of the most wonderful cities and cultures around the world, from the cosmopolitan New York to the stunning, spiritual and inspiring Himalayan culture in Nepal. Furthermore, I have had the chance to live and study in Mexico City, New York, Melbourne and Sydney.

These experiences have definitely allowed me to develop an open-minded approach to life while I was learning new languages (native in Spanish and Galician I am also proficient in English and fluent in both Portuguese and Italian). I have conformed what my values are today around the concept of PURPOSE, the lever that pulls to the surface my dreams and aspirations. I truly believe that seeking purpose and passion in life through intentional actions is critical to have a balanced personal and professional career and I think that any action without intention is meaningless but also having the intention without taking it into action is impact-less.

This philosophy has also helped in my professional career. At this stage of my life, while looking for a new job, I assume that many factors are involved, not only the salary, but also the professional experience or the environment in where that role takes place, the work colleagues, the workplace or the location.

Today, I am seeking to join a leading-edge company where I can learn from the most inspiring professionals and develop dynamic and impactful projects.
