Sapna Hayat, Founder and President of Youth organization Shaoor – for Change, is a Human Nutritionist as well as specialized in Human Resource Management. I am a Social Entrepreneur, a freelancer, Volunteer, a trainer, a facilitator and a motivational speaker. I have completed my education in 2011 and started an internship. During my internship Period, I became a part of Active Citizens program and then started Volunteering British Council of Pakistan and Dost Welfare Foundation. Shaoor – for Change is a Youth Organization and Its mission is to empower and positively impact the society with lasting benefits and making them capable of Conflict resolution.
I was selected as Representative of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for International Study Visit by British Council of Pakistan. I was acknowledged by British Council of Pakistan and won National Social Action Project Award. My work was appreciated by other Local NGOs. I was one of the selected Active Citizens, who was honoured to meet the Prime Minister of United Kingdom at Islamabad, Pakistan.
I have a diverse academic background as well as experience. I have 3+ years of experience in the different department of Health, Banks and education and 4+ years of the social sector. Apart from this, as I am a social entrepreneur, I have trained girls for vocational skills and provided them with a platform to market their product for financial support. For this regard, I was acknowledged and awarded “Youth Award in the category of Women Development” by the Government of KPK.
I am a certified Theater trainer and worked not only with UNDP in Pakistan in different projects but I have also worked with Refugees in Austria. I am also working with Austrian Study Centre for Peace and Conflict Resolution as a team member in different programs.
I am a peace Maker at heart and love humanity so the satisfaction of helping others and as a change agent makes me more motivated and focused to move onward.
