I am a multilingual Milan-based freelance writer.

A former journalist at the Corriere della Sera, a leading Italian newspapers, I have worked independently since 2010. I focus mainly on Eastern Europe, Russia, human rights, the EU and topics on innovation.

Abroad, I have won recognition for my stories on Belarusian dissidents, interviewed leaders of the anti-Putin movement, chronicled the changing cities of the Balkans, and carried out investigations on censorship, environment, and independent media.

In Italy, I have profiled young entrepreneurs, investigated startups and sustainable projects, and cast a light on European opportunities and fundings for youth.

I speak English, Italian, Russian and Spanish, and I specialise in EU grants. I was awarded the Maria Grazia Cutuli and the Belarus in Focus international journalism prizes.

I have taken part in international conferences and reporting trips, including the TEDx event in Pisa, the inaugural media week at the European University Institute in Florence, and a journey across Europe with the Green party.

Past clients include print and online newspapers, magazines, and radio networks, such as Corriere della Sera, Linkiesta, Io Donna, Vanity Fair, A, ETica News, Txetxènia trenquem el silenci,, Radio Popolare, Radio 24 amongst others.

As a translator and proofreader I have worked for The Huffington Post, Corriere della Sera, Rizzoli, Mondadori, Utet, and Caos Editorial.
