Sara Bittner is a registered yoga teacher with 200 hours of training in yoga technique, practicum, philosophy, history, teaching methodology, and anatomy and physiology with a specialization in Ashtanga principles.
Sara has been practicing yoga for 3 years & what started as just a physical practice has blossomed into so much more. Sara lives a yogic lifestyle in adherence with the 8 limbs of yoga - yama (moral code), niyama (self-observation), asana (posture), pranayama (breath), pratyahara (withdrawal of the senses), dharana (concentration), dhyana (meditation), and samadhi (bliss).
Sara teaches vinyasa flow, linking movement with breath. She has a hands on approach giving gentle assists to ensure proper alignment in asana. She works with all levels of yogis and offers modifications in her classes to challenge individuals at their own comfortable pace. Her flows are usually fast paced and paired with fun upbeat music, but she can sense when a class might be feeling low energy and can cater to the yin side of life.
Sara is also available for private & group yoga lessons.
