I was born and raised in Scotland and married a San Franciscan. Mother of three grown children, and three grown step-children. Grandmother of six, including twins!

I am a British trained nurse and worked in labor and delivery at St. Thomas' Hospital in London, England. Trained in the Florence Nightingale School of Nursing. .We wore skirts below our knees, starched our own hats, and worked in the slums of London and with the families of Members of Parliament.

I am trained as a post-partum doula. I have worked in San Francisco for five years.

I have worked at DayOne Baby since it opened as a lactation consultant and parent educator. I have also supported individual families in their homes.
