As a young woman, in my college years and beyond, I had little interest in current affairs, or politics. In 2007, everything changed for me when I realized that it was up to our generation to try and save our country. I began to get involved on a local level and eventually made it as a delegate to the 2012 Republican National Convention. It was the experience of a lifetime. I feel that the importance of furthering the GOP comes with having an open mind, and a welcoming heart. Here in Granville County, we embrace all conservatives, those who are traditional, along with "Tea Party" affiliates, and Liberty minded. The future is ours, but we need to take action to save it!
