Sara Ali

Sara Ali is in working towards completing her Masters in Library Science. She joined the field as Children’s Librarian Assistant in 2017, while she was in the midst of completing her Bachelors in Political Science. She quickly fell in love with a libraries ability to make impactful change in a community and started working towards advancing her career in the library field.

Sara is currently a manager at Pearland Westside Library where she is in charge of the children’s collection and youth programming. Her current projects include working with her colleagues across the county to migrate large events such as BrazCon, a library led Comic Convention, into the virtual landscape, and ensuring parents have the resources they need to educate their children. Sara has over 10 years of experience with working with children and spends her weekends volunteering as a teacher at her local REC Center teaching grades K-12
