Having graduated from Towson University in August 2013, Sara brings enthusiasm and a fresh perspective to Avanoo, a 500 startups company. While she currently resides in Baltimore, MD, she will soon be relocating to beautiful Boulder, Colorado to play a part in Avanoo's rapid growth in behavioral performance training.

In addition to the skills she has acquired by studying English as well as Psychology at Towson University, she has succeeded in several internships over the past few years. During the Spring of 2013, she interned for the Baltimore City Police Department's Writing Initiative. In this position, she was responsible for tutoring over 60 police cadets to ensure that their police reports were written well and would hold up in court. Throughout the semester's sessions, she worked with the cadets in small group environments as well as individually. In the Spring of 2012, she interned for Glamorous Cosmetics, a start-up makeup company. Her responsibilities for this internship included writing blog posts and creating content for the company's monthly newsletters as well as managing their social media presence on Twitter, Pinterest, and Facebook.

Sara's writing has also been published several times in Teen Ink magazine, both in their print and online versions, with her top article having been viewed by over 120,000 people.
