Philadelphia based artist working in blown glass and silk organza. Marine biology serves as the main source of inspiration for these texturally rich pieces. Glassblowing allows the material to expand, contrast and move; wile the silk organza is delicate yet tough, organic and resilient. By combining these two materials through a process of accumulation the work begins to reference it's source of inspiration.
