Sara Buchanan

Sara Buchanan graduated from Washington State University (WSU) in May 2014 with a Bachelor degree in Sport Management. Along with her course schedule, Sara was involved in various clubs and organizations around campus, including WSU Coug Guys & Gals, a volunteer sports ambassador organization for WSU athletic programs.

With a passion for sports, Sara took advantage of every opportunity available to work with different organizations around campus and Washington state. From the university baseball team to a mud race on the coast, Sara is willing to learn anything and everything about event management. She has taken leadership roles within her sorority, the university athletic department, and various internships.

During the summer of 2013, Sara gained additional experience and applied learning as a volunteer summer intern for the Wenatchee AppleSox, a collegiate summer baseball team playing in the West Coast League’s East Division. As a student, organization member, or volunteer, Sara exemplifies an outstanding leader with maturity, poise, and perseverance.
