Sara García Serra

Student and Teacher in Barcelona

I hold a degree in English Studies from UNED alongside a C2 proficiency certification, and am a native speaker of both Catalan and Spanish. Having recently completed two Master’s degrees, including my Máster del Profesorado with a practicum completed at Escola Pia Vilanova i la Geltrú, I am officially qualified to teach English and Mathematics. I am also currently working to expand my credentials to teach Physics. My journey began tutoring classmates in these core subjects, later transitioning to professional tutoring at 18 through platforms like ClassGap and in-person sessions.

To enhance my methods, I transitioned my practice to Zoom, integrating a second camera, session recordings, and customised lesson plans tailored to each student's specific needs and learning style. I continuously refine my pedagogical approach through academic research and professional conferences, such as the 1st TRADIT Conference in Madrid.

My classes are dynamic, engaging, and results-driven, fostering a supportive learning environment that helps students develop personal agency, grow, and achieve their goals.
