Sara Gourley was born and raised in Provo, Utah. She graduated in 2013 with a BFA in Painting and Drawing from Utah Valley University. She works in layers to allow the image to weave in and out of clarity and detail allowing the image to become lost and found. Sara uses watermedia because of its transparency; spaces can be blurred or defined.
