Sarah Lilly

I am a senior marketing student at the University of Northern Colorado with a passion for the creative field. I enjoy keeping up with the marketing and advertising world, and hope to bring this passion to a career someday as a Creative Director.

I started to realize I had a creative side when I came to college. I opened a shop on Etsy, selling handmade canvases and channeled my creative juices into that and my sorority. I chose to be a marketing major because I knew it would be a degree that would allow be to explore different avenues of creativity, especially within the desired industry. I enjoy fostering creativity and figuring out the way to zig when someone else zags to better stand out in a world overrun by marketing messages.

My Best Qualifications:

• I am self-motivated and make sure whatever needs to be done gets done in a timely matter before the due date. I consider myself a quick-learner.

• Being creative is my passion. I love creating new ideas or expanding on an old one.

• I’ve learned through holding many leadership postitions that being team-oriented is a strong quality of mine. It is important to me to be a positive and cooperating member on any team.

• The only way to go through life is to be enthusiastic. I enjoy the work that I do, and I think it is important to be happy with what you are doing.

My Mission Statement:

Ignite passion in others, exemplify loyalty in my actions, take advantage of all opportunities for growth and living outside of my comfort zone, have enthusiasm for commitments, keep a vibrant social life, hear others when they don't speak, be a role model to one individual, participate within and outside of my community, remember to balance and that it okay to fall as long as you get back up, value the gift of friends and family, and vow to always have a purpose in this life.
