I am a mother of a beautiful daughter, a blessed wife, friend, entrepreneur and alchemist. I was born in the UK, grew up in South Africa, spent 2 years in the Middle East, 18 months in Houston Texas and have now settled in a small town called Lake Charles, Louisiana until of course the winds of change bestow its blessing upon us once again and moves us to where the world needs our support.

I spent 25 years of my life in the corporate world in organisational and leadership development and even though I really loved what I did, I always had this nagging feeling that I needed to do more than an 8 - 5 job. I knew that somewhere I had a purpose that I needed to fulfil in the world but didn’t even know where to begin.

In 2004, pregnant with my daughter, I decided to build a Day Spa on a golf estate with 12 rooms and 8 therapists, whilst working full time for the Oil and Gas industry. What a transition. I didn’t know anything about the beauty industry but I was excited about starting my own business. I opened its doors one month after my baby was born while I continued with my full time job. I loved every aspect of running a business and learnt so much about what I really wanted to do but didn’t have the courage to leave my full time job. .

In 2007, we were asked to go to the Middle East and so I sold my business, took a sabbatical from work and moved to a country that couldn’t speak English As the only expat wife, living amongst the local community, I needed to re-invent myself. I had no one to talk to other than the people who could not understand my language which gave me a plenty of reflection time. It didn’t take me long before my entrepreneurial spirit took over and I started teaching English to the local women. As many women were not allowed to work, I also started fitness classes to entertain those who were stuck at home all day long.

On my return to South Africa and after much reflection I decided to take on a half day position (talk about procrastination) and start up another business, this time a coaching practice.

I enrolled in a program through Results Coaching Systems to become a qualified coach and on the first day of the training I burst out crying and realised that I had found my life purpose. I was so passionate about this subject that I obtained the highest professional coaching qualification through this institution and even became a mentor and assessor to new coaches within
