I have made a professional career in web and graphic design - my experience in the IT sector spans 16 years. I have also become a reputable Photographer in the equestrian industry, photographing a range of events across Northumberland and North Yorkshire. Since my professional training started in 2012, I have steadily grown my photography to cover Family portraits, Equestrian events and portraits, Fieldsport, Weddings and commercial shoots.

I specialise in natural lifestyle portraiture, keeping the whole process as pure as possible. I work with natural light as it is the most flattering and also far less intimidating to small children or reluctant grown-ups! Being able to work outdoors, in a location specific to each individual client makes for a more interesting and personal portrait.

My passion for the countryside reflects in my work - my love of the outdoors and horses began early in life. Back in the day, regional Athletics events, netball matches, hockey tournaments and riding lessons overlapped, but once I had a reliable job, horses won out.

I have had horses as part of my daily life for over 16 years. My American Quarter Horse cross and Cob have been my best friends for as long as I can remember. They have been my little rocks though all the tough times, and shared all the happy, exciting times.

I am always looking to better myself and my work, and I'm looking forward to the journey of achieving my dream goal.
