As a Floridian and farmer's daughter, the fascination of weather for me didn't happen from one experience, but daily while spotting summer storms on the RADAR and forecasting the occasional freezing temperatures during the North-Florida winters. Before moving to Little Rock, I was the morning Meteorologist for Sunrise in Southeast Ohio at WHIZ.

I earned my degree in Meteorology along with minors in Communication, Mathematics, and Physics from Florida State University in Tallahassee; I love my 'Noles and all things Garnet & Gold! At FSU I was on-air talent for a student produced weather show and was also involved with the American Meteorological Society. I am a Phi Mu and had the honor of serving on the executive committee and coordinated numerous philanthropies.

Between volunteering and being active in church, hanging out with my crazy family (including our dogs Holly Belle & Cricket) is one of my favorite things to do. I love to cook, bake, explore and watch any college sport, especially football!
