I love storytelling. True stories told well have the power to move people.

Wherever there is a disconnect, be it political or emotional, there is a need for communication. Journalism can be the bridge from escalating tension towards understanding and cooperation.

There is a need for more stories that showcase the voices of the underrepresented and powerless.

As a Masters candidate at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism, I hope to learn the art of radio reporting to help tell those stories.
