Sarah K. Hellström

My background is in film production with 12 years of international experience. Past projects include documentaries, short films, commercials and Hollywood feature films. I hold a Bachelor of Arts (cum laude) in Film from San Francisco State University's top film school and a Master of Arts in Cinema Studies from Stockholm University.

I currently focus on freelance writing in addition to the world of academics, and guest lecture at universities (undergrad and graduate levels) within Cinema Studies, with Production Studies, and the niche field of study of visual effects in film, as my areas of expertise. So far, my lecturing has been limited to Stockholm and Swedish universities, but I am open to visiting other cities - even countries, if means may make such opportunities possible in the future.

In 2015, in addition to ongoing projects, I am working on a children's/youth novel and serve as a new committee member of The Guldbagge Awards*. Later this spring, I will also achieve a Certificate from Stockholm University for Professional Development for University Teachers.
