Sarah Turman

I am a Junior at JMU with a double major in English and Spanish and a minor in Business Spanish. I'm taking advantage of all life has to offer and I fully believe that there are lessons to be learned in every opportunity given. I am studying abroad in Salamanca, Spain for 3.5 months and while this opportunity has proved to be quite daunting, I am excited for the personal growth I will gain from it. I have many goals for myself and I am fully committed to them all.

I have been lucky enough to have had many experiences at JMU that have helped me grow both professionally and intellectually. I have an affinity for working with others that I believe makes me a strong addition to any environment.

Photography, traveling, and spending every moment I can with my loved ones tend to take up the spare moments I have that are not taken up by school.

I have an open mind and thirst for learning that I have never been able to fully quench.
