“Poetry is what happens when nothing else can.” is a famous quote of Charles Bukowski - and this is my opinion as well. Writing always was an important part of my life. Born and raised in Northrhine Westfalia, Germany, I started to write my first poems in German language in the age of ten. After Highschool I decided to study German Literature and Language as well as History of Art at the Heinrich-Heine University in Düsseldorf, Germany. Besides my studies, I worked as a journalist for a local newspaper and a content manager for a traveller´s Internet portal. I am now working in the sector of Corporate Communications at a Pharmaceutical Company nearby Cologne. Writing short-stories, prose and poetry in German as well as in English is still my passion to this day.
