Sarah Athearn

Hello! My name is Sarah Athearn and I am currently a senior at Biola University studying Christian Ministries with a minor in Biblical Studies. I am incredibly passionate about Jesus and about making Him known. I have a passion for students and especially for camp ministry.

I grew up in a Christian home and at a Christian school, but I did not fully understand what being a follower of Jesus meant. To me, following Jesus was a list of what to do and what not to do. However, at summer camp the summer before my freshman year of high school, God completely captured my heart and taught me that being a Christian means loving Him and being loved by Him first.

I developed a passion for ministry during my senior year of high school and God has continually made it clear to me that full-time ministry is what He is calling me to in my life. I have had incredible opportunities to serve at multiple churches as well as at an amazing camp in order to lead students closer to Jesus.

Apart from ministry, I love being surrounded by my friends and family. During my free time you will most likely find me at the beach- I am truly a California girl at heart! Overall, I am a follower of Jesus with a true love of life and of others.
