Sarah Chancey

After graduating with a degree in Art-Interior Design, from the University of Georgia, Sarah gained professional experience in art instruction, interior design, floral design, marketing, event management, and catering from a variety of industry experts. She also expanded her design aesthetic by spending a few years living in Denver and traveling along the west coast. All of her experiences culminate in her work with Chancey Charm as she brings a holistic prospective of the event industry to her work as lead designer and owner.

Sarah’s use of hand-drawn renderings within the event and editorial design process is something that developed naturally and fits perfectly into the experience. Coming alongside clients and providing original design boards, which capture their vision and allow them to feel excited and confident about the journey is what drives Sarah’s passion for the event industry. Sarah has a special love for timeless, elegant designs and loves incorporating unique interior furnishings and lighting into any event.

As an Atlanta native, Sarah enjoys spending a summer afternoon at the TED with her husband, scouring the many boutique shops dotting the perimeter for her next project, and connecting with local artisans. These loves, along with her travels and penchant for fabrics, provide her with constant inspiration. An artist at heart, Sarah is passionate about leading her clients and colleagues back to the basics of beautiful event design and artistic expression.
