I am a customer-focused executive leader and serial entrepreneur. I’m passionate about understanding the customer, helping the customer, and developing all product, marketing and sales strategies around that understanding. I have helped lead five companies through rapid growth periods, changes of strategies, fund-raising, and acquisitions, and I enjoy the gamut from early stage start ups up to organizations of 1000 employees. I've had the privilege of hiring, mentoring, and working with some amazing teams of people.

My experiences include:
• Led the marketing of a public company as we rapidly grew from 20,000 customers to 150,000+ customers
• Built an online training program that regularly served thousands of customers every week
• Helped to start and create an award-winning web-based educational product for children in K-5th grade.
• Led marketing and product management for a growing network security company (sold to a public company)
• Co-founded a company that created and sold software development tools (later sold to a public company).
• Co-founded a company that provided electronic data collection products for healthcare.

I also really enjoy mentoring and giving back to the community. My husband and I have been Social Venture Partners since 2006, and I've been a mentor for UW Foster MBA for 7 years. I have a blast coaching SVP Fast Pitch social entrepreneurs, and am an advisor to a number of ed tech start ups.
