Sarah Hilligoss

My name is Sarah Hilligoss. I am from a rural town in Western Illinois. I am currently a sophomore at Western Illinois University. I am studying Elementary Education with an endorsement in Middle School, emphasizing in History and English.

I am a Golden Apple Scholar of Illinois. This wonderful organization has given me an experience of a lifetime and I haven't even completed half of the program. :)

• I am a daughter, a sister, and a best friend.
• I am a small town girl (actually it is a village).
• I am a devout Christian.
• I blow out the candles on March 4th.
• I love baseball, especially the Cardinals.
• I love Chicago.
• I have been to 38 states (some of my favorites are Louisiana, Michigan, North Carolina, Colorado, Alabama, and of course Illinois)
• I sponsor two children overseas.
• I would be nowhere without my faith, family, or friends.
• I love life.
