Sarah Nelson

My educational background includes professional communication, education, linguistics, and career development. I have a vast array of work experience across several industries. My early career began in the hospitality industry and has morphed into a career with a strong focus on professional communication and education. I have just completed my term as an elected school trustee in the BC public education system, and have been a Learning Consultant in the career development field, an instructional designer and facilitator online, and a college instructor.

My main areas of interest include communication and the power of words, and take pride in being innovative and creative. I believe in living with passion and purpose and have a strong desire to see the world full of lifelong learners who want to 'be the change'. I am also a 'midnight genealogist' with an interest in uncovering lost roots for myself and others.
