Sarah Pangallo

Student at the University of Washington in Seattle studying Communications and Spanish. Past professional experience with the Disney Company and in retail with companies such as Nordstrom, involved in leadership at the UW Newman Center and other organizations to further develop professional connections and campus involvement. Comfortable with public speaking and group leading, passion for working with children and experienced in caring for them as the oldest of eight children. Aspires to find a highly interactive job where I can help others and ideally incorporate my Catholic faith utilizing skills attained from high school team leadership, courses taken at the UW, and extracurricular and professional experience. Inspired by supportive and loving community of friends and family and strives to appreciate each day as a new opportunity. Hopes to travel and experience different cultures, gain fluency in the Spanish language, and plans to study abroad in southern Spain her senior year. Upon graduating in June 2016, desires to either go back to working with the Disney company, likely in California, or stay local in Seattle close to friends and family and find employment provides the opportunity to help others, preferably teens or children. Passionate about meeting new people and hearing others’ stories, receives joy from community and giving to others, and is extremely grateful for every opportunity presented thus far in pursuit of a higher education and every experience that has helped develop and grow her as a person.
