This blog is about my dog and I. Most of our adventures take place in my home state of Minnesota, but Snoopy came from an unknown situation. Midwest Animal Rescue Services (MARS) mentioned that he was picked up along side a road in Ohio all alone. Before I go any further, this all started when one Saturday I asked my boyfriend if we could go to an adoption event "just for fun" which we both knew meant we may be coming home with a dog...

We walked into a warehouse filled with all kinds of dogs with all kinds of stories to tell. We walked around the circle of canines greeting each of them along the way, but one made us stop. At the time, his name was Duke. Duke's white tipped tail started wagging uncontrollably as we walked towards him and once we met he lifted his front paws up onto my stomach to look right into my eyes. My boyfriend and I looked at each other, smiled, and he proclaimed, "We are in trouble."

Long story short, a week later a newly named Snoopy was making himself at home in our one-bedroom apartment.

Whoever said money doesn't buy happiness has obviously never paid a pet adoption fee. So, here's a blog about happiness, funny stories, and love all revolving around a beagle from Ohio.
