Sarah Baia
Accomplished Attorney in Wappingers Falls, New York
As a staff attorney with The Hartford, Sarah Baia guides business clients through legal procedures centered on workers’ compensation claims in New York. In preparation for her career, she served the Albany County District Attorney’s Office as a law clerk. Later, Sarah Baia interned with Taylor and Associates and Easley Appellate Practice, PLLC. As an intern and summer associate with firms such as these, she gained exposure to a diverse range of practice areas, including energy and labor law.
Earlier in her education, Ms. Baia earned her BA in political science from the State University of New York at New Paltz. She then enrolled at Albany Law School, from which she earned her JD. As a graduate student, she severed the Albany Law Journal of Science and Technology as lead articles editor. In recognition of her academic accomplishments, the school honored Ms. Baia with the John B. Lurie ’20 Memorial Prize.
Apart from her legal training, Sarah Baia holds her AAS in vocal music performance from Dutchess Community College. In 2011, she sang at the Turn Up the Peace Benefit Concert, which was hosted at Carnegie Hall.
