Sarah Beach

Biography: From a small town located outside of Ottawa, Ontario, I’m a country girl whose passion has always been the almighty ‘big town’ city life. Journalism has always been an interest, which has now proven to outshine all the others, as I begin my new (and well sought after), journey of pursuing a Bachelor’s of Journalism at Ryerson University. It has taken me longer than the ‘normal’ first year undergraduate student to begin my post-secondary school career, as many obstacles over the last while have not ceased, but lengthened my long-term goal of becoming a journalist. Although my age carries numerous stereotypical characteristics, I have experienced certain situations that has given me an overview of the outside world, which not all may possess. Personality: Approachable, easy-going, opinionated, focused, interested/accepting in everything and all. Beats/Streams: Newsprint/Magazine, Photojournalism, Broadcast.
