I am a therapist currently working in Oakland and Hayward, CA.

We live in a world where trauma violence, oppression, and over-stimulation are constantly impacting us emotionally, physically, and spiritually. I believe that in order to heal the planet, we have to begin by healing ourselves. My intention as a therapist is to guide people toward empowerment and healing in order to live their fullest and most joyful lives possible. We all have this capacity within us, and therapy can help us to move through our past trauma, oppressive social conditioning, anxieties and other stresses to be our best selves.

I specialize in working with people impacted by trauma and family and relationship stress and have done extensive work with individuals and families with anxiety and obsessive-compulsive behaviors.

In sessions I use interventions to help people learn to cope with the stresses and challenges they’re facing, including mindfulness techniques, somatic interventions, and CBT techniques from a strengths-based, trauma-informed lens, and I strive toward cultural humility and dismantling systematic oppression.*

*For those interested, I have specific experience and interest in exploring and guiding self-reflection and healing around personal and collective roles in oppressive systems, especially for those who have benefited from these systems. For those engaging in this type of work, a portion of my fee will go directly toward Bay Area racial justice organizations to be determined through a collaborative conversation in session.
