Sarah Cooney

I am a passionate and enthusiastic, New York State-certified Social Studies teacher looking for a teaching position on Long Island or in New York City. Throughout my career, I’ve taught a variety of students, diverse in culture, age, and ability. Teaching internationally has increased my acceptance and respect for new, global viewpoints and allowed me to examine my own culture from a different perspective. Due to my time overseas, I’ve met numerous types of people, many who have enriched my personal life as well as my professional life. I’m excited to bring this wealth of experience back to New York.
