I'm like to like things (or at least the idea of). I hate to admit it but I'm a modern twist on a 19C Romantic - regularly lost in my thoughts and searching for novel experiences. I finished University in 2013 with a 2.1. in English and American Literature with Classical and Archaeological studies; a degree destined to be undertaken by myself since the age of 10. My English teacher at the time kindly informed my family and I that I would never be good at anything in life... particularly the study of English. In retrospect, most English teachers/ lecturers had the same opinion... apart from one great teacher who I will never forget! We showed them!

I work in a software development company for cashless payment solutions. I love the science behind the technology. I don't understand it as much as a developer does but I like listening and learning snippets of information that may or may not be relevant to me in the future (See! I like to like!). The opportunity this industry has to change a user's experience in payments is really exciting to me. I feel like I am part of a streamlining revolution that takes away the boring life-admin out of people's days, providing them with more time to spend on those more important things in life.

If I had a bucket list, it would be a long one. I've now started writing, Ballroom and Latin, and for the summer of 2014 I will be wakeboarding/ fallling in to the water most weekends.
