I'm entering third year of journalism at Ryerson University in Toronto. Over the past two years, I've been lucky to work at a few business publications that have taught me how to look at current affairs through a more intricate lens. My experiences have shown me how complicated the world is, especially for millennials as we learn to navigate adulthood.

My goal over the final two years of my degree is to learn how to simplify Canadian current affairs for millennials. We grew up in the age of technology , but we receive so many media messages daily that it's hard to disseminate information and become informed citizens.

Apart from my aspiration to become the voice of generation Y, I enjoy writing about topics like sports, the millennial lifestyle, and dating. I'm a proud Torontonian, an ice cream and Netflix addict, and an exercise procrastinator. You're likely to find me staring at a blank document on my laptop or picking up takeout.
