I am a second year medical student at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. I study genetic retinal dystrophies under the supervision of Elias Traboulsi, MD and Neal Peachey, PhD. I am also President of the Ophthalmology Interest Group.

I graduated from Emory University in 2012 with a B.S. in Neuroscience & Behavioral Biology with highest honors. I I completed my honors thesis ("Birdsong: Is it music to their ears?") in the lab of Donna Maney, PhD.

I also completed a B.A. in Music (Viola), where I held the Chick-Fil-A Principal Viola Chair in the Emory Symphony Orchestra from 2010-2012. I also worked for a year as a research assistant for Kristin Wendland, PhD.
