Sarah Gayle Randall
Austin, Texas, United States
Class of 2017, I am honored and humbled to be standing in front of you all as we embark on this journey together. My name is Sarah Randall and I am a creative problem solver. Whether within my chosen field of Human Resources or in my personal entrepreneurial efforts, I consistently strives to take a new angle at issues resolution.
My passion for efficient process design and cross functional collaboration has proven successful in my career and has afforded me the opportunity to lead the HRIS function within my organization. I recognize the value of exploration and innovative thinking and strive to lead by example when tackling new challenges.
Not only I enjoy my professional responsibilities but have an enthusiasm for people and culture. Once labeled the "Queen of Culture" at BV, I am known for volunteering time and time again to plan and execute internal social activities, global meetings and local holiday celebrations, which themes include Vegas Night, Taste of NOLA, Andy Warhol "Pop Art" gallery, and many others.
Outside of my office, I take on wedding clientele and executes day-of-wedding coordination. Nearly 5 years ago, I felt my passion for throwing parties could be shared with friends and ultimately turn into a business opportunity. I love day-of-coordination because of the unique challenge each event brings.
On the weekends, you can find me can at Gus Fruth, part of the Austin Greenbelt, with my husband and 2 dogs, Bucket and Bernie, two English Springer Spaniels! I love to watch comedies and almost any show on HBO. The last 3 books I read were comedic memoirs.
My newest and exciting challenge is participating in the Texas Evening MBA program with hopes to expand and strengthen my knowledge of business and further my dream of becoming a HR power-house! I am excited to get to know each and every one my classmates and build a timeless network of professionals. Hook ‘em Horns!
