SARAH GODWIN

Hi, I'm Sarah Godwin, a senior at West Hills High school. I believe that I could make a difference at Laguna College of Art and Design because of my creativity and passion I have to learn new things and techniques. My major hobbies right now would be softball and art, I look forward to every practice and game for softball, and I look forward every day to going to Ceramics.

I´ve played softball since about eight years old. My current team is Yabutifida (yeah but if I had ____) Its a complicated name but we are a good team. I have always been good at sports, I could pick up any sport and play confidently because it came as a second nature. With art, though, it was a challenge that I really enjoyed, it didn't come so easy to be this far. Right now in art, I am creating a Kraken (his name is Kraig) and a realistic human figure which isn´t bad considering that I am a high school student that picked up art her junior year of high school.

Art has not always been the center of my life but It has become a great way for me to express myself and I know that to be an art instructor or artist it takes more than JUST the drive and confidence, it takes skill, knowledge and I believe I can learn that and more at LCAD.
