Sarah Gupta, MD is a San Francisco-based adult psychiatrist with a special interest in how food impacts mood, especially as relates to the health of the human intestinal microbiome. After completing her degree in Art Practice at UC Berkeley, Dr. Gupta attended medical school at the University of Nebraska in Omaha. She completed her psychiatry residency at the California Pacific Medical Center, and now practices in San Francisco. Dr. Gupta has completed additional training on nutritional medicine, and has spoken on the subject of integrative psychiatry both domestically and internationally. She loves art and going to the beach, and also enjoys cooking and baking... especially with ingredients that promote a healthy, happy gut.
