Hello, I’m Sarah. I’m an Elementary Teacher and the above statement is a 6 Word Memoir of my teaching philosophy. I have a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology and Conservation, and a Post-Grad Certificate in Environmental Engineering Applications with a co-op focus on Water Resources. I received my Bachelor of Education from Redeemer University in Junior/Intermediate with a Science teachable, and I am a member of the Ontario College of Teachers. I have additional qualifications in Special Education, Teaching English Language Learners, Senior Biology, Intermediate Health and Physical Education, Intermediate Instrumental (Strings) Music, and Intermediate Mathematics. My passions and interests include health and fitness, environmental stewardship, conservation, music, gardening, equity and inclusion, education, ecology, agriculture, community, and volunteering. I have been teaching since 2021 and enjoy bringing my love of nature and diversity (including individual, cultural and ecological), as well as the attributes of empathy, acceptance, appreciation, and inclusion into my work with kids and my passion to care for the environment.
