The world is a big place and I want to sample as much of what it has to offer as I can. My friends have often called me a 'doer' and I'll be honest, a day vegged out on the sofa comes as somewhat of a challenge for me (think the last time I managed it was during a serious bout of flu circa 2007!).

As there's so much to see and do, I'm prone to a bit of background research (our honeymoon took nights and nights of solid googling before I booked anything!) so thought I'd start to share what I find and my experiences as I go along.

So here's the musings, occasional ramblings of a 30 something who loves good food, cooking, a quality wine or cocktail and everything as varied from a wind swept beach to a snow capped mountain.
