Sarah Sherwood
I recently graduated from Springfield College in December 2011 with a Bachelors of Science in Health Sciences. I'm now attending the same institution and pursuing my Masters in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention. I will also be an adjunct professor this fall teaching wellness classes.
I'm currently a Public Health Intern at Tapestry Health located in Western Massachusetts standardizing and strengthening training for and evaluation of the agency's prevention programs; developing methods to improve planning and evaluation, such as observation assessments for interventions and service planning tools for intake questionnaires; providing direct services, including HIV, STI, and hepatitis C testing.
I enjoy a natural preventative approach to health and wellness, yoga, hiking, the outdoors, animals, volunteerism, YMCA, strange exotic food, traveling, reading, writing, and gardening.
I hope to someday work for a non-profit organization and reside in various parts of the country and make time to see the world.
